Cookie Policy

How Orbitwise uses cookies and similar technologies, and the choices available to you.

Last updated: 4 August 2026

1.What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, and software development kits that help sites remember preferences, keep forms working, measure traffic, and understand marketing performance.

This Cookie Policy explains how Orbitwise ("we", "us") uses these technologies on orbitwise.in and related pages. For broader data practices, see our Privacy Policy.

2.How we use cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Operate core site features and keep pages loading securely
  • Remember form progress or interface preferences where applicable
  • Understand how visitors use our site so we can improve content and performance
  • Measure marketing campaigns using attribution parameters (such as UTM tags) and related tools
  • Help detect spam, abuse, and fraudulent form submissions

3.Types of cookies we may use

Essential / strictly necessary

Required for basic site operation, security, load balancing, and fraud prevention. The site may not function correctly without these.

Functional

Remember choices such as dismissed UI states or preferred settings to improve your experience.

Analytics / performance

Help us understand page views, traffic sources, and feature usage in aggregate so we can improve the website.

Marketing / attribution

Help us understand which ads, partners, or campaigns brought you to Orbitwise. These may be set by us or by partners such as advertising or CRM platforms when enabled.

4.Session vs persistent cookies

  • Session cookies expire when you close your browser
  • Persistent cookies remain for a set period or until you delete them

5.Third-party cookies and tools

We use the following trusted third-party tools:

  • Google Analytics / Google Ads (gtag.js) — page views, campaign measurement, and conversion events used with our advertising. These tags load as part of normal site operation so we can measure ad performance and lead conversions.
  • Meta (Facebook) Pixel — page views and lead conversion events used with Meta advertising. Loads with the site so we can measure and optimise Meta campaigns.
  • Microsoft Clarity — session recordings, heatmaps, scroll depth, and custom funnel events so we can see where visitors drop off. Clarity loads only after you accept analytics cookies in the consent banner. Clarity may set cookies such as _clck and _clsk. See Microsoft Clarity terms.

We also read first-party UTM and ad click parameters (utm_source, gclid, fbclid, ScCid, and similar) from your landing URL and store them in browser storage so lead forms keep the correct campaign attribution after you navigate within the site. That storage is used to deliver counselling / academy enquiries (email + spreadsheet) and is separate from Clarity / Google Analytics cookies.

We may also use hosting, chat, or CRM tools for lead follow-up. Those providers may set their own cookies subject to their privacy policies.

6.How to manage cookies

You can control cookies in several ways:

  • On this site — use Cookie settings in the footer to accept or reject analytics cookies again
  • Browser settings — block, delete, or alert you about cookies (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, and others each have their own controls)
  • Device settings — limit ad personalisation or tracking on mobile operating systems
  • Industry opt-outs — where available for advertising networks in your region

Blocking essential cookies may break forms, security checks, or other core features. Rejecting optional analytics cookies stops Microsoft Clarity from loading. Google Analytics / Google Ads and Meta Pixel tags continue to run so we can measure campaigns and lead conversions; forms and first-party campaign attribution for lead delivery still work.

7.Do Not Track signals

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting. There is no consistent industry standard for responding to DNT. We treat cookie preferences primarily through the on-site cookie banner, footer Cookie settings, and your browser controls.

8.Updates to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when our technologies or legal requirements change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision.
